Abstract

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), whose foundations were laid in Antalya in 2019 but was held online due to the Covid-19 virus, was held face to face for the first time in 2021.  The Antalya Diplomatic Forum, organized every year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the current period, is defined as a high-level meeting between politicians, diplomats and academics, where crisis issues occurring in the international arena are discussed. In this forum, where the search for solutions to the crisis elements that threaten the world every year is discussed, it is very important for Turkey that international decisions result in a common solution search, especially in the solution of global threats, international crises and conflicts. This study aims to reveal the place and importance of Antalya Diplomatic Forum on central and local governments. The forum's demonstration of international outlook and capacity increase for the central government reveals that Antalya's brand value and economic sustainability have been strengthened for local governments. The Forum also provided a strong coordination model in terms of cooperation between central and local governments and contributed to development at national and local levels.
