Plagiarism Policy

APAMEIA Journal considers plagiarism and all forms of academic misconduct as serious ethical violations and enforces a zero-tolerance policy in this regard. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened for similarity using iThenticate or Turnitin plagiarism detection software prior to editorial evaluation. The Editorial Board carefully reviews similarity reports and may request clarification from authors when necessary.

Manuscripts with an overall similarity index exceeding 15%, or those containing substantial overlap with the authors’ previously published works (self-plagiarism), are rejected without further review.

In cases of confirmed ethical misconduct, actions will be taken in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Retraction Guidelines, which may include rejection, retraction of the published article, and notification of the author’s affiliated institution.

APAMEIA Journal upholds originality, academic integrity, and the protection of scientific honesty as fundamental principles of its publication ethics.
