APAMEIA Journal, along with its Editorial Board, Publishing Board, Advisory Board, authors, and reviewers, is committed to upholding the Principles of Transparency and Best Practices in Academic Publishing as established by organizations like the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). In alignment with academic and ethical standards, the journal pledges to prevent unethical publishing practices. All published articles are accessible to readers free of charge, a policy intended to broaden the dissemination of knowledge and extend scientific research to a wider audience.

Plagiarism
APAMEIA Journal adopts a strict approach to plagiarism. To ensure originality, the Editorial Board screens submitted manuscripts with plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate before proceeding with the publication process. The Publishing and Advisory Boards carefully examine any suspected cases of plagiarism and scientific misconduct in published articles. If a study is found to include unauthorized quotations from other sources or to use copyrighted material without permission, the Editorial Board reserves the right to retract the article and inform the relevant authorities at the author's affiliated institution. The acceptable plagiarism threshold is no more than 15%.

Conflict of Interest and Informed Consent
Authors must declare that they have obtained informed consent from participants involved in their research and clearly state that there are no conflicts of interest.

Ethics Committee Approval
For articles submitted from Turkey, if human participants or animals were involved in the data collection or experimental processes, ethics committee approval is required. Authors must upload the ethics committee approval document during submission and indicate the name of the ethics committee, approval date, and approval number on the last page and in the methods section of the manuscript.
Ethics committee approval is not required for studies involving secondary data use, such as surveys, interviews, observations without human participants, or archival studies. In these cases, authors should include a statement on the last page of the article clarifying that ethics approval was not required.

Confidentiality
APAMEIA Journal is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and safeguarding information obtained during the review process from being used for personal gain. The journal is committed to protecting the confidentiality of all content and correspondence with reviewers. Reports or information about the articles are not shared with third parties. Reviewers cannot directly contact authors without the written consent of the Editorial Board.
